....well, it is Christmas Day, and we are spending it in our "home away from home": Sick Kids. We have been here Saturday, Monday and now are here for surgery. While we were hoping the meds would get rid of the infection, it only got worse. To add to it, her bottom incision opened up further and the expander started to poke out.
So we are here, waiting for Keziah to come out of surgery. Dr. Zuker is hoping that the infection did not reach to the top expander. If it has, that one will need to come out as well. We pray that this isn't the case.

I would like to also wish you a happy Christmas. I would usually wish you the Lord's blessing in the New Year but this time I will confine myself to wishing you the Lord's blessing on Keziah's surgery and that the healing would continue.
