Good morning!! We are doing well. Keziah decided to return to her happy, chatty self at three o'clock in the morning. I saw a glimmer of it already at 11 last night when she gave me a high five with her paddled IV hand :o). It was so nice to see as the afternoon and evening were a little rough on her. She wasn't in the mood to visit with Uncle Arie, Oma and opa, but she sure talked about it later.
This morning she has polished off a pancake, piece of bacon and some chocolate milk. She is walking around and playing. The surgeon has come to see her and is happy with her progress, even suggesting that if things keep going well, we can go HOME this afternoon!!! We are excited about this. Keziah? Not so much.......she's discovered the Play Room :o).
Wow, that is good news! What a blessing that this has gone smoothly. What a little trooper! We will pray that the journey will be better than we could have anticipated. Big hug. Oma sends her greetings.
