5:30 came quickly and we were out the door. The first thing she was concerned about when we put her in the car was Lincoln. She was quite worried about where he was. She was fine with it once she knew we weren't leaving him behind in the house.

We got to Toronto well in time, checked in and then waited. Keziah had fun passing the time away playing with the toys and daddy's iPad. She also did very well with the nurse. Just after 8, the surgeon, anesthiest and a couple of nurses came. As soon as they walked into the waiting room, she somehow knew something was up and so she hid behind her biggest protector, her dad. They gave her some calming medicine which kicked in after 5 minutes. That medicine is equivalent to 10 beers!!! We asked for some too, you know, to taste test it to make sure it would be okay for our daughter :o). Yeah, they didn't go for it.

Once the medicine hit her, she was very placid and calm, going with the nurse willingly. And now we wait, killing time for the next 4 to 5 hours.

No pictures because I have no idea how to get them off my camera and onto the iPad. I'll post some when we get home.

  1. Glad to hear things went smoothly! Just a tip: I'm sure your ipad has a decent camera on it and an app to load pictures to share....(you might have to do some shopping in App world for a good one)! Take some pics with your ipad, and some with your camera! Hey... you have time to kill....I'm sure you're smart enough to figure it out!
    All the best!

    1. You see, Nathan's iPad is already outdated. I think the camera is on the ipad2. Can't keep up with technology these days. He did take pictures with his phone so later we will figure out how to get them here.
